Griffis - In Prairie City, Saturday, August 5th, in the 13 year of her age, Viola, daughter of H. J. and E. A. Griffis.

The deceased was the fourth daughter of the afflicted parents have lost be the fell disease, consumption, within the past few years. She went to Colorado for the hope to recover her health, but it did no permanent good and she returned a time ago to die among her loved ones. Now after life’s final fever, she is at rest. She was buried on Sabbath in the family burial ground.
