George Norman Case, age 66 of Colfax, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2015, at Veterans Hospital in Des Moines. Private graveside services will be held at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery at a later date. There will be a public memorial service later in the spring. Memorials may be directed to the family and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The son of Norman C. and Whelma (Weimer) Case, George was born on August 23, 1948, in Jasper County. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam.

Those left to honor his memory include his partner, Audrey Wlson of Colfax; daughter, Juel Jean Zeneski of New York; two grandchildren, David and Kendra Zeneski; three sisters, Pat (Maurice) Hesson of St. Joseph, Missouri, Jan (Ron) Wing of Colfax, and Judy (Wendell) Ross of Colfax; a brother, Gregg Case of Colfax and 13 nieces and nephews.
