KELLOGG -- Emma L. Sharp, 76, of Rt. 1, Kellogg, who resided in Richland Township, south of Kellogg, died today, Oct. 20, at the Grinnell General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.
Burial will be in Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.

Emma L. Sharp
KELLOGG -- Funeral services for Emma L. Dilts Sharp, 76, of Rt. 1, Kellogg, a resident of a farm southeast of Kellogg for more than 50 years, were held today, Oct. 23, at Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.
The Rev. Lyle W. Johnston, pastor of the Pleasant View United Methodist Church near Kellogg, conducted services. Burial was in Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.
Memorials to the Pleasant View United Methodist Church will be accepted.
She died at Grinnell General Hospital Friday following a heart attack.
Surviving is her husband, Oakley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Helen Mae Johnson.
Mrs. Sharp was a member of the Pleasant View United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women and had taught Sunday school classes.
The daughter of George and Minnie Cewe Dilts, she was born March 4, 1913 in Farmington, Ill.; was raised in the Grinnell area and attended rural schools.
She was married to C. Oakley Sharp Oct. 4, 1939 at Montezuma.
