KELLOGG -- Icy M. Pyle of Rt. 1, Kellogg, a resident of the Kellogg community since 1939, died of a stroke Tuesday morning, Jan. 24, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Private funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Reese Chapel in Newton.

The Rev. Jerry Brown, pastor of the Newton First United Methodist Church, will conduct services.

Survivors are a daughter, Betty Allen of Newton; a sister, Alene Lunde of Nevada; a niece; and a nephew.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harry, in 1982, two brothers and two sisters.

The daughter of George and Lulu Lewman Moser, she was born in Augusta, Kan., and was graduated from State Center High School.

She also had resided in the Newton, State Center, Baxter and Kellogg areas.

KELLOGG -- Private funeral services for Icy M. Pyle of Rt. 1, Kellogg, who died Tuesday morning at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Reese Funeral Home in Newton.

The Rev. Jerry Brown, pastor of the Newton First United Methodist Church, will conduct services.

Burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Floral arrangements will be accepted. A memorial in her name to the American Heart Association has been established and donations may be left at the funeral home.

There is no visitation at the funeral home.
