Velma B. Plouff

LANCASTER, Calif. -- Memorial services for Velma Berlau Plouff, 70, of Lancaster, Calif., a former resident of Newton, were held Sunday, April 9, at St. Andrew’s Priory in Valyesmo, Calif.

She died Tuesday, April 4, at Lancaster.

Survivors are her husband, Donald; two daughters, JoAnn Wilson and Nancy May, both of California; two sons, Stephan Alm-Plouff and David Plouff, both of California; a step-son, Allen Plouff of California; and five grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to the Salvation Army, Box 951, Lancaster, Calif. 93544, will be accepted.

Mrs. Plouff had served in the American Red Cross in France during World
War II.

Following her service in France, she moved to Pomona, Calif., where she resided for 28 years.

She was born March 27, 1919 in Newton.
