Judith Marie Lafferty
March 10, 1947 - August 8, 2024

Judith "Judie" Marie Lafferty (Shepley) age 77, of Colfax, IA, passed away on August 8, 2024 at her home from Pancreatic Cancer. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024 from 2:00 - 5:00 pm in the 4H Building at the Jasper County Fairgrounds. Memorials in her honor may be directed to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com

The daughter of Orville J and Hazel M (Smith) Shepley, Judie was born on March 10, 1947. She graduated from Colfax High School in 1965. Those left to honor her memory are her former husband, Larry Lafferty of Colfax, five children; Cheryl (Eric) Wiggins of Mitchellville, Chris (Bill) May of Des Moines, Jamie Lafferty of Colfax, Scott Lafferty of Colfax, and Susie Lafferty of Colfax, ten grandchildren; Megan (Rob) Campbell, Samantha Morris, Matthew (Ashlee) May, Mason (Alyssa) Lafferty, Ashley Lafferty, Wendy Wiggins, Riley May, Allison Lafferty, Reid May, and Gabe Lafferty; nine great grandchildren; Forest, Kayley, Emma, AJ, Lexus, Jayden, Layla, Rylin, and Brooklyn, as well as 2 brothers Carl Shepley and Kenny (Jan) Shepley.

Preceding Judie in death are her parents and siblings; Don Shepley and Sally Shepley.
