Richard E. Olson, 56, passed away Friday at his residence. Dick, known as the "gumball man", is survived by his wife, Carol L. (De Vries) Olson and their three daughters and husbands, Shari and Tim Westercamp of Oskaloosa, IA, Shawna and Elden Van Zee of Newton, IA, Sharesa and Jason Van Arendonk of Pella, IA; and eight precious grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday, October 4, Committal Service at 10 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella, Memorial Service at 11 a.m. at Federated Fellowship in Pella, Iowa. Visitation will begin Monday morning at Van Dyk- Duven Funeral Home; Visitation with the family present will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Federated Fellowship in Pella, Iowa.
