Monroe Mirror: Mr. J. S. Whisler, living near Fairmount, died Saturday as a result from a stroke of paralysis. He was one of the oldest residents of this part of the State, and was 87 years of age. The funeral occurred Monday; the interment was at Prairie City. The services were conduced by Rev. Webster of Monroe.
