Yesterday, Fred Bodker died very suddenly at his home in Baxter. He had eaten a hearty dinner and left the table and was seated in a rocking chair. His wife noticed him leaning over and going to him found that he had expired.

He was a man 81 years of age and had lived in Baxter a number of years. Before going there hishome for a long time was on a farm near the Horn post office. He leaves a wife, two sons and two daughters.

Deceased was well known in the northern part of the county. He was a man of considerable wealth.

The funeral will be held from the home at 9 a.m. Saturday. Interment will be made in the German Reform Cemetery.
