Felicia Ann Coley, 64, of Newton died on Monday, March 4, 2024, at her home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials in Felicia’s name (checks made payable to Nikia Coley) may be left at the funeral home.

Felicia, the daughter of Roosevelt and Pinkie (McCormick) Coley, was born on January 7, 1960 in Chicago. She lived in Chicago before moving to Newton, Iowa in 2011. Felicia enjoyed crocheting, doing puzzle games, cooking, and going to Meskwaki on Fridays for “all you can eat crab”. She loved to have her whole family together and was looking forward to have a family “cook-off” this Easter.

Felecia is survived by her children, Michael Coley of Lafayette, Indiana, Quintrail Coley of Newton, and Nikia Coley of Newton; daughter-in-law, Carla Coley; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her siblings, Hobert Coley of Wisconsin, Jackie Coley of Indiana, Joyce Coley of Hawaii, and LC Coley of Minnesota; many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Jodie Garrett of Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Byron Coley; and two brothers, Roosevelt Coley, Jr. and Norman Coley, Sr.
