Mrs. Francis C. Kelley of Green City, Mo., died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde Ely Tuesday evening. She had been making her home in Newton with her daughter for the past three weeks.
Services were conducted at 1 o’clock Thursday at the Toland Funeral home with the Rev. H. LeRoy Kinser in charge. Interment was in the Newton Union cemetery.
Mrs. Kelley as worn at Hartford, Mo., Feb. 27, 1866, and was united in marriage to W. H. Kelley on Feb. 24, 1888. to this union were born eight children, one dying in infancy.
Surviving are her children, Mrs. George Smith of Unionville, Mo., Mrs. Henry Lunsford of Green City, Mo., Clarence of Harrah, Wash., Otis of Buckeye, Ia., Mrs. Lem Lunsford of Green City, Mo., Mrs. Emmett Bowman of New Camberia, Mo., and Mrs. Clyde Ely of Newton. Also 30 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, a sister and three brothers.
