Mrs. R. Johnson, Cambridge, Dies
Barrett, Ia. (Special to The Daily News) – Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Johnson have returned form Cambridge where they were called last week by the serious illness and death of Mr. Johnson’s mother, Mrs. Ruth Johnson, who died at her home in Cambridge on Feb. 6.
Mrs. Johnson, who was 69 years old is survived by four sons, Howard J., Elbert, and Roy H. all of Cambridge, J. H. of Kellogg and one daughter, Mrs. Aletha Baumgardner of St. James, Minn. Also 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Vera Baker of Des Moines and Mrs. Charles Fink of Zearing and one brother, George Wire of Haverhill.
Funeral services were held at Cambridge Sunday and besides Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and Robert and Dolores, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Freese, Mr. and Mrs. G. W Paul, and Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Gills attended from this vicinity.
Mrs. Johnson had visited her son and family here several times during the last few years.
