Arthur N. Hough Baby Dies Today At Skiff Hospital
Arthur Nicholson Hough, 10-day-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur N. Hough of Villisca, Ia., formerly of Newton, died at 6:00 a.m. today at the Skiff Memorial hospital. The infant was born at the hospital Feb. 9, Death was caused by a cerebral birth injury.
Funeral services are to be conducted Friday at 2:30 o’clock at the Morgan Funeral home. Interment will be in the Newton Union cemetery.
Surviving are the parents, a sister, Kathryn May, aged 3, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Hough, and the great-grandmothers, Mrs. A. M Hough and Mrs. Lelia Nicholson.
Mr. Hough is city editor of the Villisca Review.

Hold Rites Friday For Hough Infant
Short funeral services were conducted at the Morgan Funeral home Friday afternoon for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur N. Hough of Villisca, Ia.
Arthur Nicholson Hough, Jr., was born Feb. 9, at the Skiff Memorial hospital, Newton, and died Feb. 20.
Father Basil Daugherty of Des Moines conducted the short service and interment was in the Newton Union cemetery.
Surviving are the parents, a sister, Kathryn May, aged 3, paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Hough, and the great-grandmothers, Mrs. A. M. Hough and Mrs. Lelia Nicholson.
Mr. Hough is city editor of the Villisca Review.
From out of town at the services were Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Humes of Des Moines and father and Mrs. Daugherty of Des Moines.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hough are staying in Newton for a time with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leigh Hough. He plans to return to Villisca the first part of next week.
