Funeral services were conducted last Monday afternoon at the home and also at the Osborn and Taylor Funeral home at New Sharon for S. P. Woollard, 69, who died at his home in New Sharon Saturday. He suffered a heart attack on Jan. 7.
Mr. Woollard was born Oct. 25, 1871, in Jasper county and had spent most of his life here. He was wed to Isabel Jordan in May, 1914. Mrs. Woollard has been an invalid for the past five years of arthritis and he has cared for her.
Surviving are his widow and a brother, E. P. Woollard of New Sharon and a sister, Mrs. J. L. Bullington of Newton, the only two surviving of a family of eight children.
