Former Newton Woman Dies at Venice, Calif.
The word has been received here by Newton friends that Mrs. Amanda Fisk Harrah, wife of John Harrah passed away at Venice, Calif., last Thursday night at 8 o’clock and was buried in the yard at the Harrah home last Saturday.
She is survived by her husband and two children – a son and daughter and one brother Roy Fisk. Mr. and Mrs. Harrah were married in Newton and lived here several years before moving to California some 25 years ago. The deceased was about 57 years old.
