Mrs. Henry Baird
Prairie City, Ia – Mrs. Henry Baird, 77, died at 5 a.m. Saturday morning at her home. She suffered a heart attack Monday and had been ill the rest of the week.
She was born four miles southwest of Prairie City and had lived all her life in Prairie City. Her husband is retired from the dry goods and grocer business after operating 25 years in Prairie City.
Surviving are a son, Earl Baird of Ames and a granddaughter, Helen Louise Baird of Ames, and her husband.
Mrs. Baird was a member of the Christian church.
