McClure, Franklin Edward Age 82, retired executive of formerly Dallas based Gifford-Hill & Co., passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 5, 2006. Born July 17, 1924 in Royal Oak, MI, he served in the 101st Airborne Division during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart and Silver Star medals. He graduated from Iowa State University in 1949 with a BA degree in Geology. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Jane McClure, Frisco, Texas; children, Mary Ann Miller and husband Lawrence, The Colony, Texas and John McClure, Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Robert John Prickett and wife Lorraine, William Brian Prickett, Alexandra Mae McClure and great-grandson, Dylan Connor Prickett.
