Mariah Lynn Snider, 28 days old, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials in her name may be left at the funeral home.
The daughter of Chris Blake Snider and Lisa Kay Rupe, she was born Sept. 1, 2005, in Newton.

Survivors include her parents; three brothers, Troy, Tate and Tanner, all of Newton; grandparents, Pam Lammey of Newton, Carolyn Cook of Des Moines and Larry Snider of Granger; great-grandparents, Evelyn Anderson of Mingo, Elzada Snider of Granger and Bethel Mullins of Storm Lake; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Daniel Lammey; an aunt; and great-grandfathers, Kenneth Anderson and Gerald Snider.
