COTTAGE GROVE, Minn. — Richard B. Partridge, 76, of Cottage Grove, Minn., formerly of Newton, died Sunday, Sept. 25, 2005, at Shalom Home East in St. Paul, Minn.
A memorial service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Hastings, Minn. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in Minneapolis, Minn. Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home in Hastings, Minn., is handling arrangements.
A visitation will be held Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Memorials will be accepted to Alzheimer's Association, 4550 W. 77th St., Suite 200, Edina, Minn. 55435.
The son of Carl Partridge and Gertrude (Dobler) Partridge, he was born Dec. 7, 1928, in Bemidji, Minn. He served in the U.S. Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. On Oct. 7, 1950, he married LaVerne Lindahl in Minneapolis, Minn.
He was a purchasing agent of wholesale building materials while living in Newton for a while.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, David (Lydia) Partridge of Cary, Ill., and Roger (Krisan) Partridge of Chandler, Ariz.; a daughter, Debra (Eric) Neumann of Cottage Grove, Minn.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Thomas M. III and Leonard.
