(His headstone says Ezra for the first name)

Found on findagrave (could possibly be from a Grinnell, IA newspaper:
Ezra Thomas Craven was the son of Hiram and Hannah Craven was born in Pennsville, Morgan County, Ohio on March 29, 1837.
Shortly after his birth his parents moved to Washington county, Ohio where Ezra grew to manhood.
In 1859 he was married to Margaret E Johnson who died in 1860 leaving an infant daughter, Anna, who was deprived of a mother's love and care. Ezra came to Iowa in 1862.
On September 13, 1862 he was married to Susan Alexander of Peoria, Iowa. To this union were born eleven children, seven girls and four boys.
Mr. Craven was a miller by trade and followed that occupation for a number of years, operating flour and feed mills in different localities, until about the year 1880 when he moved from Peoria to Lynnville and took charge of the mill at that place.
While living at Lynnville he was converted and joined the Friends church in which the family was brought up early learning the principles of the Christian faith and right living.
In 1916 he retired from business and moved with his wife to New Sharon to spend their declining years. Here they have many friends. His wife passed away May 1, 1924 since which time Mr. Craven has gradually declined in health, having heart trouble, dropsy and other infirmities which are incident to old age. He remained in the home here at New Sharon where he was tenderly cared for by a daughter, Mrs. Vesta Flaherty.
In November he went to spend the winter with another daughter, Mrs. Verna Carrigan of Grinnell. Here although all that loving hands could do was done for him, he grew steadily more and more feeble. His condition became such that it was thought advisable to take him to a hospital where he could have the very best medical care and attention.
He was taken to St Francis hospital in Grinnell on January 7th. On the evening of the 14th he passed peacefully to rest, having lived 87 years 9 months and 15 days. He believed in Jesus Christ as his Saviour, who said, "In my Father's House are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you."
His wife and four children have preceded him into that eternal home. Those of his family who are left to mourn the departure of a beloved father are, Mrs Anna Alexander of Oskaloosa, Mrs Dora Copeland of Des Moines, Mrs Ina Lucas of Cheyenne, Wyo., Mrs Amy Eaton of Des Moines, Mrs Mary Garrett of Sioux City, Manson Craven of Ipswich, SD, Mrs Verna Garrigan of Grinnell, Mrs Vesta Flaherty of New Sharon. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
These with many friends are left but for a while. All will receive the final call, for God's children are gathering home, one by one. "Jesus is the Resurrection and the life."
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Friends church at Lynnville conducted by Rev Snavely. Burial in the Friends Cemetery.
