AUGUST 19, 1943 – AUGUST 8, 2023John A Bergstrom of Buckeye, Az passed away on August 8,2023. John was born in Bury Lanchester, England on August 19, 1943. John and Ruth (Buchmeier) were married in Kellogg, Iowa on February 9, 1963, and just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. John graduated from NW Missouri State in 1966 and began his sales career with the Maytag Co. where he worked for 14yrs. The last 18 years of his career he was the Vice President of North American Sales for Omax Corp. John loved his job and coworkers and said he never had a bad day at Omax. John retired in 2011 with plans to fish and travel. In 2013 he and Ruth moved to Arizona where they made many good friends. John loved to play cards, pickle ball and especially swimming and the sunshine.
John is survived by his wife Ruth, son John, daughter Julie and their families. The family would like to Thank Sun Crest Hospice and Palliative Care for the care and compassion they showed John in his final days.
