Paul Roger Berry
1936 - 2023

Paul Roger Berry, the son of Arthur “Artie” Guy and Emma (Kloppenberg Bodry) Berry, was born August 9, 1936, in Baxter, Iowa. Paul retired in 1984, from the Maytag Dryer Assembly. Paul also was a longtime car dealer. He enjoyed cars, whether buying, selling or collecting them.

Paul died on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Park Centre Healthcare Center. He was 86 years old. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Donald Berry; his daughter, Kathryn Berry; his brothers, Charles Berry, Gene Berry and Joe Berry and his sister, Wanda Kline.

Those left to honor Paul’s memory include his daughters, Paula Jo Mick, Theresa Ann Williams and Lisa L. (Scott) Dirks; his grandchildren, Brandi Williams Schmidt (Derek), Mallory Richardson (Amy Simmons), James Williams, Kari (Jake) Osborn, Tiffany (Ryan) Anderson, Jasmine Dirks; his great grandchildren, Gavin Williams, Ariana Schmidt, Oakleigh Schmidt, Shelby Richardson, Brody Richardson, Wyatt Anderson and Emma Anderson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 6, 2023, at the Pence ~ Reese Funeral Home in Newton. The family will greet friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at the funeral home. Memorials may be designated in Paul’s name to AHeinz57 Pet Rescue and Transport https://www.aheinz57.com (Please indicate it is for Paul Berry Memorial) or may be left at the funeral home.
