February 28, 1966 ~ June 8, 2023 (age 57)

On Thursday, June 8, 2023, Stacy Hundley went to be with the Lord at 57 years old. Stacy was born February 28, 1966, to Tawny Butcher, in Macomb, Illinois. Stacy grew up in Newton, Iowa. In 1984, Stacy’s first child, Cassie Agans was born. In 1986, Stacy gave birth to her second child, Joe Martin.

In the late 1980s, Stacy met Ronald “Ed” Hundley and as soon as they met, they knew they were meant to be together. In 1993, Stacy and Ed welcomed their third child, Christopher Hundley into the world. Stacy and Ed raised their kids together in central Iowa.

In 2010, Stacy started college at Iowa Valley Community College, studying liberal arts. She graduated with honors while also battling cancer. Stacy was an avid reader of murder mysteries and loved working on puzzles in her spare time. Stacy was an expert baker and made the most delicious specialty cookies for friends and family. She was an amazing grandmother to her three beautiful grandchildren and she enjoyed spending quality time with each of them.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Josephine Willey; her friend, TJ Milner; and her beloved cat. She survived by her husband, Ronald “Ed” Hundley; her mother, Tawny Butcher; her three children, Cassie Agans, Joe (Ashley) Martin, and Christopher (Haley) Hundley; her three grandchildren, Megan, Brayden, Charlotte; her siblings; and her extended family.

Please join the family to share your favorite stories and memories with a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 16, 2023, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory in Newton. The family will greet friends at the funeral home following the service. Memorials to Taylor House Hospice can be left at the funeral home.
