Colfax – Funeral services for Ray Renfro, 56, of Colfax, will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax with the Rev. Jill Flyr officiating.
Burial will be at McKeever Cemetery in rural Colfax.
Visitation will be held after noon Tuesday at the funeral home where family will be present from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society or the Colfax Little League will be accepted.
Mr. Renfro died of respiratory failure, Sunday, Jan. 18, at Des Moines General Hospital.
The son of George Raymond and Vivian Rushton Renfro, he was born Aug. 9, 1941, in Princeton, Mo.
He married Karen Scott March 5, 1965, in Unionville, Mo.
A resident of Colfax since 1957, he was raised in Princeton, Mo.
He was a retired construction worker and employee of Warren Frozen Foods.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Valerie Hazelbaker of Colfax; two grandchildren; a sister, Karen (Russell) Lewis of Colfax; and an aunt, Mrs. Russell Renfro of Colfax.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son.
