The daughter of Peter Nelson, of the Couch mine, whom was mentioned as being under Dr. Turner’s care – prostrated with malignant diphtheria – died last Sunday and was buried secretly Monday night. On Thursday another child, two years old, died of the same disease, but the other two children are recovering. The dread disease will not be allowed to spread.
