Urbandale – Rex R. Miller, 61, of Urbandale, a native of Colfax, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Westminister Presbyterian Church in Des Moines.
Burial will be in McKeever Cemetery north of Colfax.
Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Sept. 7, at the Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines.
Survivors are his wife, Betty; a son, Rick of Clear Lake; a daughter, Betty Jo of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and three grandchildren.
Also surviving are a brother, Raymond of Kansas City, Kan., and two sisters, Helen Intveldt of Mesa, Ariz., and Bernice Durbala of Cedar Rapids.
Mr. Miller was owner of Miller-Robinson Plumbing Co.
Mr. Miller was a member of the Westminister Presbyterian Church, Plumbers and Steamfitters Union, Local 33, Masters Plumbers Association and Fairs and Squares Square Dance Club.
He was born in Colfax and resided in Brooklyn before moving to Des Moines in 1954.
