Ross Hall McKeever, 68, of 2821 School St. died of emphysema Tuesday at home. Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at McKeever Cemetery in Colfax.
Mr. McKeever was born in Des Moines and returned last year after 10 years in Texas. He was a retire truck driver and country western musician, had been a member of Grandview Park Baptist Church and was a veteran of the Coast Guard.
Surviving are his wife, Betty; a daughter, Marla Young of Floresville, Texas; a son, Michael of Des Moines; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 7 p.m. today at Hamilton’s Funeral Home.
