De Soto – Beau Scott Sage, 3 ½-month-old son of Eric and Deborah Swartwood Sage of DeSoto, formerly of Colfax, died Monday, Aug. 11, at the Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the Colfax Howard Street Christian Church, and the Rev. James Miller, pastor of the DeSoto United Methodist Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax.
Also surviving are a brother, William; his paternal grandparents, Harry and Lorna Sage of Colfax; his maternal grandparents, Max and Donna Glendenning of Mount Ayr; and his maternal great-grandparents, Clair and Savilla Nekrud of Grand Forks, N. D.
He was born April 22, 1986.
