Zoanne R. Bowers, 44, of 2907 E. Ovid Ave. died of cancer Saturday at home. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Highland Park Christian Church, with burial in Vandalia Cemetery.
She was a lifelong Des Moines resident and had worked in the data entry department for Principal Mutual. She was a member of the Christian church.
Surviving are her husband, Don; a son, Bryan of Hagerstown, Md.; two daughters, Kimberly Bowers and Christy Bowers, and a brother, Larry Overton, all of Des Moines; and her mother, Ruth Fulton Overton of Mercer, Missouri.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Merle Hay Funeral Home.
