Borts Rites Thursday
Mrs. A. L. Borts, 65, of route one, died at 3:15 a.m. today at her home a mile north of Ames.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Adams Funeral Home, Rev. LaVerne Ervin officiating. Burial will be in Greencastle Cemetery at Greencastle, Iowa.
Mrs. Borts was born at Dallas, and moved to Ames in 1919, where she was a member of First Christian Church. She was married to Archie L. Borts in Des Moines.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Lloyd of Ames, Willard and Max both of Gilbert; two brothers, Carl Pitts of Collins, Joseph P. Pitts of Polk City; one sister, Mrs. Alice Troutwine of Independence, Mo.; and three grandchildren.
