William Green Rites Saturday
Services for William M. Green, 72, of 115 Fourth St., West Des Moines, who died of a stroke Wednesday at Broadlawns General Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the McLaren Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greencastle Cemetery near Colfax.
Born in Salem, Ark, he had lived in West Des Moines 17 years. He had owned and operated the OK Barber Shop in West Des Moines until his retirement three years ago. He was a member of Gnemeth Lodge No 577 A.F. & A.M.
Surviving are his widow Iva; a daughter, Billie M. at home; a son, Zell F. Green of San Mateo, Cal.; a sister, Mrs. Henry Murphy of Des Moines; four brothers, Roscoe, Othel and Odea, all of Des Moines, and Sherman of Mammoth Springs, Ark., and three grandchildren.
