February 4, 1945 - March 9, 2023

Linda Lee Kane, age 78, of Monroe, Iowa, passed away on March 9, 2023, at Edencrest Tuscany Retirement Community in Altoona, Iowa. Per Linda’s wishes, there will only be a graveside service to celebrate her life on Monday, March 13, 2023, at 10:30 am at the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made out to the Monroe Fire Department or Linda’s family. Online condolences may be left at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The daughter of Melvin and Ermalee (Rojohn) DeMoss, Linda was born on February 4, 1945, in Vandalia, Iowa. She went to Vandalia Country School and graduated in the class of 1963 at Prairie City High School. Linda was united in marriage to Dennis Kane on November 24, 1967. Linda made a career of office work. She worked for the State of Iowa and the State of Arizona. Upon retirement she opened her house cleaning business.

Linda and Dennis moved to Mesa, Arizona which is a state she loved. Linda loved to travel and listen to country music (especially Alan Jackson). She was also known for her unmatched cleanliness. The running joke was always that you could eat off Linda’s floors at any time.

Linda is survived by her husband; Dennis, brother, and sister-in-law; Paul and Gloria Kane, a sister; Lora (John) Kain, many nieces and nephews as well as multiple great nieces and nephews.
