J. G. Rambo Funeral Friday
Services for John G. Rambo, 82, of Polk City, who died of a heart attack Tuesday at Iowa Methodist Hospital, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Sams Cemetery near Mingo.
Born in Missouri, Mr. Rambo farmed in the Maxwell area before his retirement and had lived in Polk City 25 years. He was ill three weeks.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Irene Ward of Marshalltown, Mrs. Lorrene Ireland of West Des Moines and Fern Rambo of Des Moines; a son, Ralph of Altoona; a sister, Mrs. Anna Bailey of Tulsa, Okla., nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

John Rambo had a closing out sale at his farm Monday, Jan. 19. Mr. Rambo has bought an acreage near Polk City and expects to move there March 1.
