Mary Ellen Lane Of W.D.M. Dies
Mrs. Mary Ellen Lane, 83, of 524 Second St., West Des Moines, died Tuesday at the Warford Nursing Home after a heart attack.
Born at Baxter, she had lived in West Des Moines 35 years. She was a member of the West Des Moines Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McLaren’s Funeral Home in West Des Moines. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery near Baxter.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Edythe Shroyen, and a brother, Edward Weeks, both of Denver, Colo.
