War Veteran Dies
William L. McNeil, a veteran of the Civil War and a member of Crocker post G.A.R., passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. C. Kusterer, 1713 West Eighth street, at 11 o’clock this morning. Funeral announcements will be made later.

Civil War Veteran Dies at Age of 85
William L. McNeil, 85-year-old Civil War veteran, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. C. Kusterer, 1713 Eighth street. He was a member of Crocker post of the G.A.R. and had lived in this city for the last twenty years.
Besides the daughter with whom he lived, he is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. F. G. Cochran, Emily, Minn.; Mrs. Cora A. Foster, Spencer and Mrs. C. M. Taylor, Fort Dodge and one son, Dr. B. F. McNeil, Mount Vernon.
The funeral will be held at 10 o’clock Thursday morning at the Dunn funeral home with burial at Baxter. Crocker post of the G.A.R. will have charge of the funeral services.

M’Neil Rites Will Be Held Thursday
Funeral services for William L. McNeil, 85 years old, who died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. E. C. Kusterer, 1713 Eighth street, will be held Thursday morning at 10 o’clock from Dunn’s chapel, Crocker post will have charge of the services. Burial will be at Baxter.
McNeil had resided in this city twenty years. He is survived by three other daughters, Mrs. F. G. Cochran of Emily, Minn.; Mrs. Cora A. Foster of Spencer and Mrs. C. M. Taylor of Fort Dodge. A son, Dr. B. F. McNeil, resides in Mount Vernon.
