Mrs. C. Schaumberg Died at Early Hour Today
About four o’clock this morning occurred the death of Mrs. Conrad Schaumberg at the family home on First Avenue West.
Mrs. Schaumberg had not had very good health for some time but was only confined to her bed about two weeks. It was a general breaking down, and altho her family knew she was seriously sick, they did not think the end would come at this time.
She was only in her 59th year and tho her children are grown and most of them married and in homes of their own, they all hoped to keep her with them, for she was greatly beloved by her children, husband and friends.
Telegrams have been sent to brothers living in the West, and the funeral arrangements will be deterred until they hear from them.
There are six children and ten grandchildren. All were with her but Mrs. Hulda Schneck and Chas Schaumberg of Detroit, Mich. They are coming home for the funeral.
At home with her parents lives Miss Bertha, and Will and Henry Schaumberg are married and live in Newton, as does also the eldest daughter, Mrs. Louise Conn.
