Frank Southern, about 26 years old died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Daisey Neal, last week. He leaves his mother, sister and a brother Earnest in Des Moines.

Frank Southern was born near Mingo in 1882 and died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Daisy Neal, Dec. 1, 1918, at the age of 36 years, 9 months and five days, the cause of his death being pneumonia, following influenza. No public service was held and interment was made at Sams cemetery Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock. His mother, sister and her children are all sick with the influenza, also his brother Ernest and family in Des Moines. They have the sympathy of the entire community at this sad bereavement.
