Blaine Tramel Dies Last Week
Clear Creek, IA. – Blaine Tramel died at his home west of Ira Friday evening after a few days illness with meningitis, at the age of seventeen years. Owing to quarantine the funeral services were conducted at the Union Chapel Cemetery Sunday at 11 a.m. by the Ira pastor of Christian church. Blaine was born and reared near Union Chapel. He was united in marriage November 1921 to Helen Beals of Ira and they were living on the old J. H, Smith farm. Besides the young wife, his mother, Mrs. Walter Tramel, one brother, Russell, two sisters Marie and Gertrude Tramel, his grandparents, Mr., and Mrs. George Long with other relatives and friends mourn the loss of a young life gone out when it seemed untimely.
