Harrison Lint was born in Summerset county, Pa., December 20, 1840, and died at his home in Mingo, November 9, 1918, aged 77 years, 10 months and 19 days. He came to Iowa during the Civil War. He was one of the pioneers of Story county. He was married to Henrietta Lint and to this union was born six children. The wife and one daughter have preceded him in death. Mrs. E, R, Mortimer of Hitchcock South Dakota, Mrs. A. R, Armstrong of Luray, Iowa, Frank, Minnie, and one grandson, Rex of Mingo survive him.
