Aric Allen Church, 14, of Newton died on Saturday, December 17, 2022. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials in Aric’s name (checks made payable to Allen Church) may be left at the funeral home.

Aric, the son of Allen and Pennie (Swanson) Church, was born on March 15, 2008, in Newton. His family lived in Kellogg and later moved to Newton. Aric was currently a Freshman at Newton High School. Aric enjoyed playing video games, super heroes, listening to all genres of music, and watching action movies. He also liked to hang out with his friends,

Aric is survived by his parents, Allen and Pennie Church; siblings, Alex and Amanda Church; a half-brother, Doug Bucklin; his paternal grandparents, Diane Ivy and Ben Ivy; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Maurice Swanson and Janice Swanson.
