Former Jasper County Lady
Dies in South Dakota, Remains Brought Back
Word was received by Colfax friends Monday that Mrs. Edwin Streeter had passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Florence Couch, at Creston, South Dakota. The remains will be brought back home for interment. The funeral will be held Thursday at Ashton chapel and interment made there.
The deceased was the widow of Edwin Streeter, who was a well-known citizen of the Mingo country for many years. Last August she went to Creston to make her home with her daughter.
Jas. Stock, of Newton, is her brother; Mrs. Anna Day and Mrs. Mary Evans, of Colfax, her sisters, and Mrs. Dan Snyder and Mrs. E. E. Cox, of Colfax are sister-in-laws.

Clear Creek – Sarah Anne Streeter died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Andrew Couch, near Creston, S.D., December 4th. The funeral was held at Ashton Thursday, Rev. Williams of St. Charles preached the sermon.
