Grace Jeffries Grosvenor, 88, of 625 E. 10th St. N., a longtime resident of Newton, died Sunday, Oct. 23, at the Colonial Manors in Baxter.
Private graveside rites will be held at the McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax.
Friends may call at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home after 5 p.m. today. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions to the United Pentecostal Church or the American Cancer Society will be accepted.
Survivors are a son, Duane Wearmouth of Newton; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Laurena Holm of Menomonee Falls, Wis.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ed, a son, Thomas E. Wearmouth, and a brother, Levaston Jeffries.
Mrs. Grosvenor, a homemaker, was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Newton.
The daughter of John and Christina Freeken Jeffries, she was born Aug. 23, 1900 in Colfax.
They had farmed for several years in the Kellogg area.
