Carol L. Masterson, 65, of Monroe and formerly of Newton, died Sunday, Feb. 4, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Her funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pence Funeral Home in Newton, Pastor Del Bittner of Centerville Assembly of God Church officiating. Burial: Newton Union Cemetery, Newton. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home, with family present 5-7:30 p.m.
