Tamie Lynn Bogard, 40, of Newton died of a cerebral hemorrhage Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at her home.

Private family graveside services will be held at Forest Cemetery in Oskaloosa at a later date. Her body has been cremated.

No visitation is scheduled. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements. Memorials will be accepted to Todd Bogard, her son, and may be left at the funeral home or sent to Larry and Shirley Rodgers, 808 S.W. 48th St. Ankeny 50021.

The daughter of Larry J. and Shirley J. (DeWitt) Rodgers, she was born Sept. 4, 1962, in Cedar Falls. She graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1981. She grew up in Oskaloosa and was a resident of Newton since the late 1990s. She enjoyed her pets and working in her yard.

Survivors include her son, Todd Bogard of Altoona; her parents of Ankeny; a brother, Kevin J. (Norma) Rodgers of Des Moines; boyfriend, Rick Thompson of Newton; and many friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry J. Rodgers Jr., in infancy and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
