Funeral services for Howard E. Kydd, 77, of Heritage Manor Care Center, formerly of Kellogg, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 6, at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home.

The Rev. Craig Peters, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Kellogg, will conduct services. Burial will be in Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.

Visitation with the family will be held from 8 a.m. Friday until time of services.

Memorials to the Kellogg Historical Society may be left at the funeral home.

Mr. Kydd died Tuesday evening of pneumonia at the Skiff Medical Center.

Survivors are his wife, Anna, of Kellogg; a son George Kydd of 2525 Mc Gowan Bvd., Marion; and two grandchildren, Thomas Kydd of Fort Worth, Tex., and David Kydd of Oklahoma City, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert, and a sister, Hazel Hunt.

Mr. Kydd was a retired machine shop supervisor for the One-Minute Washing Machine Co.

The son of George and Anna Mae Kennedy Kydd, he was born Sept. 30, 1911 in Dolliver.

He was married to Anna Neleman Dec. 5, 1936 in Kellogg.

Mr. Kydd was a resident of Kellogg most of his adult life.
