Arthur Gearhart Rites Monday
Services for Arthur J. Gearhart, 75, a former Iowan who died Wednesday at Brownsville, Tex., will be at noon Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery at Ira.
Born at Baxter, he was a railroad telegrapher at Council Bluffs and Omaha, Neb., for many years. He was a member of the Knights Templar and Masonic Lodge and the Order of Railroad Telegraphers.
He is survived by a sister, Mrs. James P. Kean of Des Moines.
