Ida M. Passmore, 98, of Carlisle died of a heart ailment Saturday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Richardson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Vandalia Cemetery.
Mrs. Passmore, formerly a seamstress at Nina Neal’s in Des Moines, was born in Jasper County. She moved to Carlisle from Des Moines 19 years ago and was a member of Carlisle Christian Church.
A sister, Mollie Oberg of Carlisle, survives.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will greet friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
