Ms. Esther Erskin Hall, 99, died Sunday, May 25, 2003 at Adel Acres Care Center. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 28 at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial in Vandalia Cemetery.
Ms. Hall was born September 14, 1903 in Circleville, KS. She was employed in retail sales at Katz Drug Store in Des Moines before retiring in 1962. She was a member of Highland Park Open Bible Church and enjoyed crocheting afghans for family members, sewing and cooking.
She is survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three daughters.
Visitation will be with family 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Memorial gifts may be made to Adel Acres Care Center in Adel.
