Gertrude Mott Armstrong Determan, 95, of 1409 Lewis Ave. died of a heart ailment Thursday at Woodward Health Care Center. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Vandalia Cemetery.
Mrs. Determan was born in Ohio and returned to the Des Moines area in 1983. She was a retired teacher at Lincoln High School.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne; a stepson, Charles of Des Moines; three stepdaughters, Theresa Davis of Des Moines, Susan Jacobs of Ankeny and Catherine Wendel of Kansas City, Kan.; and two sisters, Marie Lowe of Des Moines and Helen Connett of Oklahoma City.
Arrangements are being handled by Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home. Mrs. Determan’s maiden name and age were incorrect in a previous obituary.
