Services for Mrs. Waity Young Johnston, 95, of 1039 Harding Road, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, with burial in the Ashton Cemetery near Baxter.
Mrs. Johnston, who died Tuesday of natural causes at Medicenter of America, was a native of Mingo and lived most of her life in Des Moines.
She is survived by two sons, Ivan and Carl Young, both of Des Moines; 28 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
